Lucas May – Owner/Instructor

Lucas May was drafted out of high school in 2003 by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He began his professional career as a shortstop, spending his first three years in the infield before a brief move to the outfield. In 2006, recognizing a need for catching depth in the Dodgers’ system, he made the transition behind the plate—a move that ultimately defined his career. Just three years later, he made his Major League debut with the Kansas City Royals.
Over 12 seasons of professional baseball, Lucas hit more than 120 home runs, caught five Cy Young Award winners, and earned a gold medal while representing Team USA. His journey through the game gave him the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest minds in baseball.
Baseball has always been Lucas’s lifelong passion. Today, his mission is to pass on that knowledge and experience to the next generation, teaching young players what it takes to compete at the next level.
